Barry has been around the Olympic sport of Triathlon since the mid 90's. As the Official Photographer since 2001 for one of Australia's biggest and most successful event companies, he has photographed many of the Worlds leading triathletes. This experience has seen also crossed over to the longer racing distance of IRONMAN as the sport has grown in Australia.

One of Barry's favourites cities of the world, Melbourne offers a rich diversity of culture, events and visual arts. Any opportunity to explore a new street, suburb or city location offers unlimited photo journalistic opportunities

Barry has been the Official Photographer for the Noosa Long Weekend Festival since 2004. One of Australia's foremost regional cultural events… it features 10 days of theatre, literature, music, dance, film, visual arts, cuisine and barrier-breaking forums – in one of Australia’s most enviable destinations... Noosa Heads Queensland. Some of Australia's most well known actors, singers, dancers, writers, journalists and social commentators continue to support this very successful festival. The following images represent a very small sample of the wonderful array of performers who have delighted audiences from across the country.

Barry has been commissioned by various government clients and operated under several regional grants programs to regional events and run photography workshops. Those commissions have allowed to enjoy the very diverse landscapes and lifestyles that are on offer.

Barry enjoys the privilege of having photographed a rich tapestry of entertainers on stage. The sheer exhilaration of capturing LIVE performance continues to be one of his favourite aspects of his work

Barry is always looking for patterns and textures and shapes formed by light ...both natural and artificial. Urban environments bring those to life in many different forms.

The Woodford Folk Festival, an event of international standing, is held annually over six days and six nights from Dec 27th through to January 1st. More than 2000 performers over 1,536 shows are programmed featuring local, national and international guests.
